I specialise in working with teenagers, couples, and families, addressing all types of relationships. With experience in both school settings and private practice, I emphasise the significance of relationship-building as a cornerstone of mental health support.​
Having predominantly worked with children over the years, I've come to appreciate the essential need for connection within the nuclear family. These relationships are crucial for fostering strong, happy children. In today's world, where family structures are increasingly fragmented and complex relationship dynamics, such as blended families, are common, the disconnection and breakdown of communication have become significant issues​.
This focus on connection is both a personal and professional passion of mine. I collaborate closely with children and their parents to establish a triad of support, teaching essential listening and communication skills while fostering trust in a safe environment. My goal is to restore harmony, happiness, and connection in families that may have lost their bond due to divorce, family trauma, or the challenges of adolescence.​
When working with couples, I aim to address communication breakdowns and conflict resolution, creating a space for them to reconnect and strengthen their relationship. In this safe environment, both partners can feel heard, respected, and free from judgment as they explore the issues affecting their relationship​.
The integrative approach I use allows me to swiftly identify complex issues, empowering clients to discover their own solutions at their own pace. I utilise various modalities, including coaching, to provide effective tools for improving mental health. I have training in trauma, rewind therapy, sexual violence, LGBTQIA issues, grief, and domestic violence.
